FAQs

Do I need to bring a skateboard/bike/scooter?

There are a small number of skateboards available on a first come, first serve basis for use in the park. We’d recommend getting your own board, bike or scooter or whatever wheels you fancy, so you can get to know your own set up.

Are you open for rollerblading/roller skating?

Yes absolutely, we welcome all kinds of wheels! Please note there are currently no metal copings but we have a selection of rails if that’s your thing.

Do I need pads/helmet?

All park users are required to wear a helmet. We strongly recommend wearing pads as well, but they are not mandatory.

Is there a lower age limit to ride the park?

Not at all, we’re open to all ages and abilities.

Do you sell food and drinks?

Rom has a small cafe selling hot drinks, snacks and a selection of soft drinks. You’re welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Is Rom Skatepark park indoor or outdoor?

The park is outdoor. We have an indoor cafe, seating area, shop and toilet.

Do I need to book?

For open sessions, you can simply turn up and pay at reception (either cash or card). For private hire and parties, please see our hire page.
